Brad Karelius

Father Brad Karelius is an Anglican/Episcopal priest in the Diocese of Los Angeles, currently pastor of Messiah Parish, in the Logan Barrio of Santa Ana, CA: the highest percentage of native Spanish speakers in USA and highest density of persons living per dwelling in America. He is also Associate Professor of Philosophy and World Religions at Saddleback College, Mission Viejo, CA, with a special focus on Native American spirituality. He is married to Janice, a Family Nurse Practitioner doing Emergency Medicine at Mission Hospital, Laguna Beach, CA. They have two adult children and reside in Laguna Niguel, CA. Fr. Brad is founder of "Hands Together--a Center for Children," providing high quality early childhood education for over 200 of the poorest families in Orange County. He is a member of the Nevada Archaeological Association, American Philosophical Association and the California Cattlemen's Association. He is currently working on his next book, "Encountering the Sacred on Highway 395".
