A tongue-in-cheek, delayed coming-of-age story, 20/30 features Lux, an untainted New Yorker who pines to write the next great independent film.

His friends have left their dreams by the wayside and have opted for tedious mainstream work. Lux doesn't want this, but time is slipping by. His girl, Lulu, is ready for marriage; he isn't quite there yet. Some encounters with former lovers complicate the situation, pressuring Lux to face exactly where he is headed and what he wants.

Lulu is enraged by his actions, and how this plays out remains for the reader to find out.
